The Las Vegas High School Historic Advocacy Award was presented by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman to the Las Vegas High School Alumni Association for their efforts toward the restoration and preservation of the original LVHS campus in Downton Las Vegas. The preservation efforts resulted in a 17 million dollar commitment from the Clark County School District for restoration, preservation, and upgrading to the campus buildings.
